Business funding options from HL Hunt
Explore revenue-based financing, business lines of credit, term loans and invoice factoring before starting your application. HL Hunt Funding connects U.S. businesses with third-party funding providers through an online application and funding dashboard.
HL Hunt Funding is a commercial financing marketplace, not a bank or direct lender. Funding providers determine eligibility, approval, rates, fees and terms. Applying does not guarantee an offer.
Revenue-based financing
Apply for financing assessed using your business revenue and bank deposit history. This application option is intended for established businesses seeking working capital for expenses such as inventory, payroll or marketing.
Prepare recent business bank statements and explain how you plan to use the funds. Consistent deposits help a funding provider assess the request. Review the actual repayment schedule and total cost in any offer; the product name alone does not tell you how payments will be calculated.
Business line of credit
A business line of credit provides access to an approved credit limit, subject to the provider’s draw and repayment terms. Businesses may consider this structure when they need access to capital at different times instead of one lump sum.
Include your requested amount, current revenue and intended use in the application. Before accepting an offer, check draw fees, interest, repayment frequency and whether repaid amounts become available to draw again. Availability and limits depend on underwriting.
Business term loans
A term loan provides a defined amount of financing with an agreed repayment term. The application lets you describe a specific business expense, such as an equipment purchase, expansion project or inventory order, and the amount you need.
Prepare your business details, recent bank statements and funding purpose. Compare the total repayment amount, payment frequency, fees and any early repayment conditions in the offer. Approved amounts and terms are set by the funding provider.
Invoice factoring
Invoice factoring uses eligible unpaid business invoices as the basis for a funding request. It can be relevant when work has been invoiced but payment has not yet arrived. Eligibility depends on the invoice, the customer and the provider’s requirements.
The application asks for invoice details, the amount, issue date, due date and customer information. Have the invoice and supporting contract available. Review fees, collection arrangements and responsibility for unpaid invoices before accepting a provider’s terms.
What to prepare for your application
- Your legal business name, EIN, entity type, address, industry and time in business.
- Your requested funding amount and a description of its business purpose.
- Your last three months of business bank statements from the account you intend to use for funding.
- Business owner information for identity verification and the application’s consent requirements.
- For invoice factoring, the invoice and related customer and contract details.
The application lists general guidelines of $10,000 in monthly bank deposits for at least three months. Meeting those guidelines does not guarantee approval; a provider may request additional information, and requirements vary by product, state and industry.
